I was 3 days in Edinburgh and had the pleasure of spending the turn if year here, a show the fireworks and not to mention in the city that is beautiful, is small but full of unique architecture and wonderful streets where we get lost walking summarizing once in a lifetime you have to come to Edinburgh
I just went to Edinburgh two months ago. It's awesome! I love the Gothic architecture and went on a fun ghost tour (it was a few weeks prior to Halloween too)

As a Glaswegian i usually dislike Edinburgh but as a teenager back in the 80's i witnessed Metallica play at the Playhouse and saw Cliff Burton a few days before he was killed in Sweden. As a sidenote the guy narrating this is a former folk singer who lives near Stirling, he also sang the Title song on the original Wicker Man movie.

I went on a ghost story walking tour at night. Kinda creepy fun and a bit scary. There are others to go on too.

Edinburgh is beautiful; but we have to be very, very careful. Take Princes Street. Look at late 19th/early 20th photos. What do you see? Unadulterated beauty. No scars, no pockmarks. Now, look at the street today, 2021. Seriously, look at it. It’s a hodge-podge architectural mess. Old stuff bulldozed to make way for plug-ugly newer stuff. Why? F*ck knows. All I know is, it’s tragic. The only remaining Princes Street vista is the one looking away from it, up towards the castle.
The music praises this charming place. A sense of awe arises at around 4:50 when mentioning "an engineering marvel".

on August 25. Today is November 20. Does Expedia hire thieves to steal
refunds. I read reviews on their website and many people have had
similar problems
