I grew up in Auckland. It hasn't been the same since the recent change of government. Apart from the political issues, there's recent inflation, recession and housing problems. Weekly groceries are expensive. Finding clothes is difficult. Simple clothes are too expensive in New Zealand. It's hard to find a job. I moved to Melbourne, Australia 16 years ago due to those reasons. Even Melbourne has turned into a police state. Now it's overcrowded with Chinese. Banks and shops are filled with Chinese who cannot speak English, you can't understand them. Roads are made complicated only so they can fine you nearly $300 each time. The cost isn't worth living in these countries anymore.
Auckland is a one of the best capital in the world.
